Information we collect
We may collect identity and contact details, patient profile information, appointment details, doctor and department selections, payment references and statuses, communications, consent records, clinical consultation records and prescriptions. We also receive basic technical information such as IP address, browser information and security/audit events.
How we use information
Information is used to create and secure accounts, arrange appointments, process and reconcile payments and refunds, provide consultations, generate prescriptions, communicate service updates, answer requests, prevent abuse and meet legal, regulatory and record-retention obligations.
Payments
Online payments are processed through Razorpay. BHCC receives transaction identifiers, amount and payment/refund status needed for reconciliation. Card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs and banking passwords must not be entered into BHCC forms and are not stored by this application.
Sharing
Authorized clinic personnel access only the information required for their duties. Information may be shared with doctors involved in care, payment and email processors, infrastructure providers, professional advisers or authorities when necessary to provide the service, protect users or comply with law. We do not sell patient information.
Retention
Account information may be deactivated on request, but clinical, prescription, payment, consent, security and audit records may need to be retained for continuity of care, dispute handling and legal obligations. Requests for access, correction, deactivation or deletion review may be submitted through the patient privacy page or by contacting the clinic.
Security
We use HTTPS, access controls, authenticated portals and audit records. No internet system is completely risk-free. Keep login credentials private and report suspected unauthorized access immediately.
Children and patient representatives
A parent, guardian or authorized representative should provide information and consent where required for a minor or a patient unable to manage their own account.
Policy changes
Material updates will be published on this page with a revised effective date. This operational policy should be reviewed by qualified Indian healthcare and privacy counsel before handling real patient records at scale.
